Monthly Favourites // September 2017

Welcome to my Monthly Favourites for September 2017.

This month has been another month which has seemed to just fly by. Do you feel that aswell? With something happening every weekend in September, my blog has unfortunately took a backseat, but I am hoping to be able to get more into it over Autumn. A few things coming up are that I have announced the return of my Christmas Blogger Q&A series which I am already super excited about and I am also planning some major changes with my blog for the new year. If you have any suggestions for my blog update, please let me know 🙂 My emails are always open at stephsworldblog@gmail.com

What has happened this month:

  • I completed the Pretty Muddy / Race for Life 5k 🙂
  • Went to my friend’s Indian Wedding (over 2 weekends) and I had such an amazing time!
  • I went on some lovely Autumnal walks and took some photos
  • Took a trip to Blackpool with my family

Monthly Favourites // September 2017

TV Show – Atypical & The Good Place

Atypical

Going into this show, I had no idea what it was about. It is about a teenager called Sam who is Autistic, and it follows him and his family; how they manage with Sam having Autism and how Sam copes at school and with the new territory of ‘girls’ and ‘love’. I found the show so funny, especially as Sam is so innocent; but also sad at times as you go through a lot with him. I would definitely recommend giving it a watch.

The Good Place

What can I say about The Good Place? It is firstly hilarious! The show is about a woman called Elenor who has died and is now in ‘The Good Place’, but there is a twist in the story; she is not the person they are expecting in Heaven. Throughout Season 1, Elenor is attempting to earn her place in The Good Place by learning Ethics and how to be a good person.

It is really easy to watch and episodes are only 20 minutes long and there are a few surprises along the way in the Season. Season 2 is now also on Netflix with episodes coming out every week.

Music – Reggaetón Lento – Little Mix & CNCO // Feel it Still – Portugal. The Man

I have been loving both Reggaetón Lento by Little Mix & CNCO and Feel it Still by Portugal. The Man this month. Both songs are so poppy and are my Summer/Autumn transitional songs!

Instagram – Autumn Photo Challenge

I mentioned it in my recent blogpost called 5 Ways to feel more Autumnal, but I will mention it again! I have been loving taking part in Gwennan’s Autumn Photo Challenge and I really encourage everyone to take part! It is fun, easy and totally free (obviously)! It is a sure way to get you into the Autumnal spirit!

Food & Drink – Mac n Cheese

Something I have never tried before August this year has now slowly become an obsession! Seriously, if it is on the menu; I will be having Mac n Cheese! It is such a comfort food and I have been loving it for the transition into Autumn!

Mac n Cheese from Hickory's Smokehouse

Place To Be – Blackpool

In September, I took a long weekend break to Blackpool with my family. We got to do many fun things such as flying a kite on the beach, going to the amusements, looking at the Blackpool Illuminations and going to other fun activities such as the Star Trek Exhibition, going up the Blackpool Tower and playing Glow in the Dark Golf.

  • Indian weddings are great – they make them into such an occasion that they are just such fun! In September, I got married (just a one day, typical British affair though!), celebrated my 27th birthday, went to the Warner Bros Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter and…I think that’s about it! x http://www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x
