Everyone who reads Steph’s World or follows me on Instagram will already know that I am a massive Harry Potter fan! As soon as I heard they were opening the Forbidden Forest, I knew I had to book again and I am glad that I did!
This is the third time that I have visited the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour and it was just as magical as the first time. The links to my previous visits will be at the end if you fancied giving them a read to find out more about the tour.
The Forbidden Forest
If you are planning on visiting The Forbidden Forest at Harry Potter Studio Tour (for the first time), then I would skip to the below Photo Diary.
Once entering The Forbidden Forest (which was a stone throw away from the Ministry of Magic) I found it very exciting. There was a lifesize Hagrid which greets you and the stunning Hippogriff.
There is then a ‘scary’ route and ‘non-scary’ route. The ‘non-scary’ route is very basic – passing by about 3 trees and straight onto Platform 9 3/4.
The ‘scary’ route is just a little darker with the spiders. It did feel like you were in The Forbidden Forest which was fantastic, but I just wish it was a little bigger. I think the last expansion (the Hogwarts Express) spoilt everyone as it was massive and super impressive.
I think the Forbidden Forest is a great addition to Harry Potter Studios, and I can’t wait for the next expansion, whatever it may be.

If you don’t want to know what is at the Studio Tour, please look away now as there will be lots and lots of photos.
Freebie // Something you may not know…
If you are planning on visiting the Harry Potter Studio Tour, and you’re a Harry Potter Nerd and big kid, make sure you pick up one of the passports. They allow you to collect stamps (which emboss the page) around the tour – and they are pretty cool! I had so much fun just collecting the stamps. I wasn’t the only adult! Honest!
As I said earlier, this is my third time visiting the Studio Tour – which must mean that I love it! Here are my two previous posts:
