Christmas Blogger Q&A Series - Just Buttons

Hi! I’m Sarah and I write the blog ‘Just Buttons’. I live in Essex with my husband and son in a small little terraced house. I’m a photography, tattoo and baking lover, and I’m also a huge geek! Just Buttons is my part of the internet where I talk about living life as a first time mummy. I frequently post lots of photos of my son and talk about the things we get up to, as he is quite literally my life right now! I also like to post about random topics to mix it up a bit, as mothers need some personal time to themselves sometimes!

Christmas Blogger Q&A Series - Just Buttons

Question 1 – What is your favourite Christmas memory?

A few years ago my dad sat just one present in front of my mum for christmas, and it was a bottle of shower gel. My mum was of course extremely disappointed, but attached to that bottle of shower gel was a note telling her where her next present was. To cut a long story short, my dad set up a scavenger hunt of different presents around our house which eventually led to tickets for a weekend away in Paris! My mum cried because she was so happy!

Question 2 – Are there any traditions you have around Christmas time?

Myself and my family usually go for a walk along the beach at Walton-on-the-naze, Essex. It’s a weird tradition to do in winter but it’s one we’ve always done. Now this is mine and my husband’s first Christmas with our son we’re trying to come up with a new tradition for us 3.

Question 3 – What is on your Christmas wish list this year?

I actually have nothing on my Christmas list! I’ve been focusing so much on buying things for my son I’ve not thought about anything that I want.

Question 4 – Do you like to wear Christmas jumpers, if you do; what is your favourite Christmas jumper?

I really do love wearing them! At the moment I don’t have a favourite as none fit me right now – Blame the pregnancy weight gain!!

Question 5 – Do you like to give presents or receive presents?

I LOVE giving presents at Christmas. I really love thinking about that person and trying to figure out what they would love to receive, it’s so much fun!

Question 6 – Do you like the Christmas goodies such as Mince Pies, Christmas Pudding or the limited edition drinks?

I don’t… I hate mince pies, Christmas pudding and I rarely like the limited edition drinks either. I like coffee shop hot chocolates at Christmas time though. My favourite at the moment is the Mint Hot Chocolate from Costa – It comes with a little candy cane!!

Question 7 – What is your favourite part of Christmas dinner?

The stuffing, hands down! I could eat a whole bowl of stuffing and be extremely satisfied! My mum knows me well as she always spoons lots and lots of stuffing on my plate at Christmas!

Question 8 – What is your favourite Christmas Song?

My favourite is Baby It’s Cold Outside – Tom Jones and Cerys Matthews. I’m a sucker for Tom Jones!!

Question 9 – Are you taking part in Blogmas or Vlogmas this year?

I am!! I’m blogging every single day right up until Christmas Day. Come say hi!

Question 10 – Do you have anything exciting coming up on your blog next year?

I have so many plans, but they’re all a secret right now! But I’ll give you a little hint, they include ebooks and printables! My husband and I are launching a food blog (The Pears Kitchen) together on the 10th December though which we’re super excited to get stuck into in 2017.

Thank You
