Alice – Alice in the Garden

Christmas Blogger Q&A Series - Alice in the GardenHi! I’m Alice and I live in Birmingham. I have a gardening blog, called ‘Alice in the Garden’ where I like to post about gardens I’ve visited, gardening tips and ideas, and my own garden.

Question 1 – What is your favourite Christmas memory?

My favourite Christmas memory is going to my grandparents’ house for Christmas when I was little. The whole family went there for Christmas day and it felt really magical.

Question 2 – Are there any traditions you have around Christmas time?

On Christmas day we usually go to church in the morning, and go for a nice after-lunch walk in the afternoon. Not forgetting the obligatory game of scrabble!

Question 3 – What is on your Christmas wish list this year?

On my Christmas list this year is a digital piano. I used to play the piano when I was younger, and I really miss it so I’ve asked for one this year.

Question 4 – Do you like to wear Christmas jumpers, if you do; what is your favourite Christmas jumper?

I love Christmas jumpers, but I don’t actually own one! I will definitely be on the look out for one this year.

Question 5 – Do you like to give presents or receive presents?

Definitely give presents 🙂 Of course I like to receive them too, but I much prefer to give them and to see peoples’ reactions.

Question 6 – Do you like the Christmas goodies such as Mince Pies, Christmas Pudding or the limited edition drinks?

I’m not so keen on mince pies or Christmas pudding, but I do like the Christmas drinks, especially hot chocolate with marshmallows 🙂 I also love the Christmas sweet treats like stollen and lebkuchen.

Question 7 – What is your favourite part of Christmas dinner?

Definitely pigs in blankets and stuffing! They are an essential part of Christmas dinner and I can’t resist going back for more.

Question 8 – What is your favourite Christmas Song?

My favourite is ‘All I want for Christmas Is You’ by Mariah Carey.

Question 9 – Are you taking part in Blogmas or Vlogmas this year?

No I’m not this year, but it’s something I might consider doing next year as I think it’s a really good idea.

Question 10 – Do you have anything exciting coming up on your blog next year?

I’m hoping to write more posts about gardens I’ve visited, and to redesign my site.

Thank You

Thank you to Alice for taking part in this Christmas Blogger Q&A Series. Alice is a very dear friend of mine, and we went to London together back in August (when I wrote my London on a Shoestring and Unique Places for Food & Drink in London posts). Alice has been blogging for a while now, but only blogs from time-to-time. She is planning on blogging more frequently soon, so I would love if you could support Alice and check out her beautiful posts, trust me, the pictures are Instagrammable.
