Welcome to day 4 of the Christmas Blogger Q&A. Today’s Christmas Q&A is with Ashleigh from Bonjour Ashleigh.
My name is Ashleigh and I run Bonjour Ashleigh! I mainly blog about beauty and lifestyle, however my posts range from beauty to personal posts. I am also currently a full-time university student and I study Marketing. Running a blog and studying is really difficult, and I don’t always manage it, but I absolutely love blogging and wouldn’t give it up for the world.
Question 1 – What’s your Christmas tradition?
On Christmas eve, I’m always allowed to open one present with pyjamas and a Christmas film! I wear those pj’s and watch that Christmas film and I’ve done that ever since I was a little girl.
Question 2 – What is your favourite Christmas indulgence?
Has to be candy canes! I hate mince pies, and love candy canes. In saying that, I do love gingerbread and cookies….
Question 3 – What is the best gift you have ever received?
On Christmas one year, my mum wrote me and my two sisters a letter from Santa telling us that she was pregnant with my other little sister, so that was the best gift I received.
Question 4 – Are you an early gift buyer or leave them to the last minute?
I’m so early with gift buying! There’s nothing I hate more than being disorganised. I usually start my shopping in September.
Question 5 – Do you have a favourite shop to buy gifts?
I love Primark for gifts! I also use Truffle Shuffle for more unique gifts.
Question 6 – Is there something which you always wanted for Christmas but never got?
There may have been at the time but nothing big!
Question 7 – What is the most thoughtful gift that you brought someone?
The most thoughtful gift I bought someone would have to be last Christmas. The story is quite silly, but basically when I started seeing my boyfriend he told me he had watched Schindler’s List (in an effort to impress me!) so I got him that for Christmas.
Question 8 – If you could be in any Christmas movie, which one would you be in?
Probably Jingle All The Way! I love that movie so much, I love the story. Or any of the Disney Princess Christmas films.
Question 9 – What is your earliest Christmas memory?
My earliest Christmas memory is probably when I stayed at my grans for the first Christmas. I couldn’t sleep at all that night, that is where my tradition of the new jammies and DVD started, and me and my dad watched Jingle All The Way. Waking up that morning, the living room was full of balloons and it was just so magical.
Question 10 – What makes Christmas special for you?
Spending time with my family makes it special for me. I have so many family members who I don’t see that often, and being in one room with those that mean the most to me is my favourite thing about the holiday.
What is something you have been proud of in terms of blogging this year?
I am so proud of this post I have done, not only because it’s something I struggle talking about, but also because I’ve had people reach out to me and tell me they’re going through the same thing and I’ve helped them lots.
